connecticut already had a so-called assault weapons ban and it didn't stop that monster from doing what he did. these kind of massively restrictive gun control laws certainly don't stop the bloodshed in obama's chicago, which we talked about last week, or in washington d.c. where so many citizens are not protected by armed guards the way that the privileged elites on capitol hill or eelites on so many in the liberal media who are crusading for the gun control laws enjoy. i think what you are getting at and many of us have pointed to is the hypocrisy and double standard among those who have a concealed weapon for me but not for thee agenda, and that includes people like dianne feinstein, who herself was a concealed carry holder when she was in san francisco and the likes of chuck schumer and jay rockefeller who owned an ar15 and michael moore and so many of these elites. now we have the demonization of people who suggest that maybe it should be local school districts and communities that take matters into their own hands. i pointed to a great example here in my own home state of colorado

obviously a very somber day here as you mentioned in connecticut. across this country as the 26 people who lost their lives last friday were being remembered with these tolling of the bells, not just here at connecticut but around the country as well and for a lot of people time simply stopped last friday and hasn't moved in a lot of ways. it is still 9:30, december 14th. for so many family is here and so many friends of those families that are sharing such anguish and such a sense of loss and senselessness at the whole situation last week just up the road here with those 20 young children, those six adults who lost their lives in such a brutal way last week. now, some churches around the country have decided to add a 27th bell toll and a 28th bell toll in memory of the family of the lanza family, nancy lanza, the mother of adam lanza, as well. but a lot of these folks, they know that time will eventually heal all the wounds. at this moment, though, they are finding that it is going to take a sense of community, a sense of bringing everyone together
